C70 Power Steering Reservoir Upgrade

These Volvo PAS reservoirs are inherently poor design, they often swell and bulge, weep at the seam, leak from the cap, and can make a real mess of the surrounding inner wing, cambelt cover, as well as leaking fluid.

Tom will source and fit an upgraded PAS reservoir from a later P2 V70, this has a different pipe to the PAS pump. Once removed, Tom will clean up residue from the inner wing, cambelt cover and nearby pipes before fitting the new reservoir and pipe to the PAS pump. 

Then, using only the genuine specification CHF11S fluid, the fluid will be drained, refilled and bled as many times as is necessary to restore the correct bright green fluid colour. Your steering rack will thank you for it.

Note the first image is 'before', you can see it bulge towards the ECU housing and towards the coolant reservoir. The replacement is a much improved design, will maintain its straight sides, and looks fantastic.
